  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 3 ounces tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 cup bone broth
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • cheddar cheese, for topping

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Drain excess fat but retain some for flavor.
  2. Add chopped onions, celery, and bell pepper; sauté until crisp-tender.
  3. Mix in ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in jalapeno and garlic; cook briefly then add spices.
  5. Combine with cooked turkey bacon, tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour in bone broth; let simmer uncovered for 20 minutes before serving hot with cheddar cheese.
